Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, for the first time or the fortieth, New York City never fails to excite visitors with its heart-pounding mix of museums, theaters, restaurants, shopping and must-see attractions. Dubbed “The City That Never Sleeps,” it’s a world stage of finance, politics, art and media – entertaining and engaging all in a melting pot of culture, creativity and tenacity.
Bring On The Bacon (and Beer)
The only thing better than bacon? Bacon and beer, say lovers of the Bacon and Beer Classic. Set for Saturday, April 25, this super-fun New York City event pairs two of life's most delicious flavors together in tasty afternoon and evening sessions (12-3 pm and 7-10 pm). Dozens of New York City breweries are on tap for this event, as well as a host of restaurants serving up bacon-blessed bites like chocolate and bacon-covered pretzels. It's held at Citi Field, home of the Mets, so there's a fair amount of baseball lore woven into the experience; after all, the only thing better than bacon and beer is bacon, beer and baseball. Play whiffle ball, learn a thing or two about brewing your own beer at home and enjoy the company of New York City hotel guests, locals and fellow bacon lovers.
