Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, for the first time or the fortieth, New York City never fails to excite visitors with its heart-pounding mix of museums, theaters, restaurants, shopping and must-see attractions. Dubbed “The City That Never Sleeps,” it’s a world stage of finance, politics, art and media – entertaining and engaging all in a melting pot of culture, creativity and tenacity.
Chocolate, Mais Oui!
Maybe we’re influenced by our Francophile friends at Bastille Kitchen but, for sublimely satisfying chocolate, we head straight to La Maison du Chocolat, the elegant jewel box in Rockefeller Center. An outpost of the parent boutique in Paris, this sweet and oh-so-sophisticated shop is our go-to for deliciously imaginative chocolate layered with candied fruit, caramelized nuts and Ethiopian coffee. When in doubt, try an assortment of ganache macarons – with romantic names like Romeo, Quito and Maracuja – and prepare to be transported to the City of Lights.
